What’s the opportunity?
We’re looking for a great Account Executive to join our team. We are excited about the growing opportunities within our Sales Team and realize the importance that the team brings to our business through branding, sales, outreach, marketing and B2B prospecting. We are looking for someone with a demonstrated background and success in sales, preferably Tech/SaaS sales but not required. Someone with a demonstrated leadership within their organizations, someone who is willing to learn and grow in a fun, serious and fast paced startup environment.
What will I do?
- Interview, hire, and build out the SDR team, including on-boarding, continued training & education, coaching & performance management, and career development
- Develop, maintain, and optimize SDR processes for outbound prospecting, including individual & team best practices
- Tweak existing processes and create new ones to address problems you, your team and the Management team have identified. Roll out processes, train your team on best practices, and track / analyze results
- Train and mentor our Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) on prospecting tactics, time management, objection handling, and Salesforce
- Build and maintain relationships with cross-functional peers for you and your team (Sales, Sales Management, Marketing)
- Help develop career paths for SDRs to further their professional growth
- Follow up with key merchants to devise a strategy for success and optimization of the TxtCart platform for their business
- Promote TxtCart services and offerings
- Participate in team calls, discussions and decisions
What skills do I need?
- 3+ years of SDR / SaaS sales experience as a top performer and/or minimum of 2+ years of sales enablement, sales training and/or consulting experience
- At least 1 year of management experience
- Superior Teamwork and Communication Skills
- Superior Calling and Emailing Etitique
- Ability to hit monthly quotas and forecasts to close deals
- Passion for coaching and educating others
- Strong ability to summarize and communicate complex ideas into curriculum with a strong sense of how sales professionals think, operate and absorb training
- Strong process and analytical skills to identify inefficiencies and create improvements
